Owner and Co-founder of New Beginnings

Serves as Program Director, DUI Assessor, Autonomous Batterer Intervention Provider, MRT Program Facilitator and group counselor.  Leo has over 20 years experience in providing quality treatment services in an outpatient setting.

Prior to opening New Beginnings, Leo worked in Juvenile Justice Programs in the Commonwealth of Kentucky retiring in 2000.  He managed Juvenile Day Treatment Programs throughout most of his career.

Steven is lifetime resident of Louisville and a retired Metro Police Officer.  He is the founding Pastor of Spirit Filled New Life Church Ministries, Inc.  Steven joined New Beginnings in 2013 to work with domestic violence offenders.  After obtaining his License as a Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he began providing individual and family counseling services to our clients.

Ruben joined New Beginnings in 2013.  He works with domestic violence offenders in the Batterer’s Intervention Program.  Ruben is a certified MRT  facilitator, a certified DUI assessor and an instructor in the 20-Hour Risk Reduction Program for DUI offenders.

Brittney D. Doyle, BSW, TCADC

Certified: DUI Assessor, PRI 20-Hour Driving Unimpaired Instructor and MRT instructor

Brittney moved to Louisville from the hills of Grayson, Ky.  Her mountain accent is loud and clear which client’s find endearing.  She came to New Beginnings as a practicum placement and enjoyed the work so much she decided to stay after graduation.  Brittney is a caring and compassionate professional who is dedicated to the helping profession.
